The Big Question -by Lance


Well we've had everything from red heads, kissing, masterbation and even robot sex this week.  While somewhat entertaining, it got me thinking about single folks and what this pandemic has meant to them.  I'm happily married and have been with the same woman for fifteen years.  I may not know when I'll get lucky again but I know with whom it will happen.

So, out of curiosity I delved into a little reading.  Now we know dinner and a movie have been out of the question for most.  Even a meet up over a cup of coffee would be a challenge.  In Michigan, a walk in the park seemed the best option.  But then what?

Now we all know that regardless of how well one might be following the rules, urges are human nature.  Even the most avid mask promoter may just want to drop their mask to satisfy that urge.

It appears kissing is out of the question.  One suggestion, co-masterbating.  I do it while watching you do it.  You could do each other but that would require sanitizing before and after.  Now, if your thinking what I'm thinking...

So how do you get the real thing.  You could just keep the mask on.  Maybe there is an erotic way to rub face masks.  I like the visqueen idea personally.  Just put a sheet of plastic between you with a hole in it.  Seriously folks, these are the experts.

One thing I didnt read was using the essential employee protocol.  Answer a questionnaire and take each others temperature.  If it's good enough for somebody handling your groceries maybe it would be okay for handling your junk.

So the question of the day is two-fold.  If you are single how are you coping?  And single or in a relationship, what would be your Covid safe sex advice?  It would be a shame to put this on hold.

Time to step away.

 Many who used to visit here regularly also would visit Kat's forum. Now she has opted to say goodbye. Why? Disqus isn't what it used to be, and traffic has crawled to almost a stop. https://countrykatnc.blogspot.com/2026/05/its-finally-friday-and-final-thread.html I have been taking the last couple of months to contemplate what I want to do with this forum. I think it's time for me to step away as well. Reasons are multiple. Mainly the loss of old friends, Susan and milo but others as well that, when I check their profiles, have been inactive for months, some for a year or two. Never heard why. Just stopped coming here or anywhere on Disqus. Lack of enthusiasm and participation has been evident as well. That includes my lack of enthusiasm. I am NOT blaming anyone.
