SNOWFLAKE asks… [S2E2]
The new zeitgeist - worthy of a thread?
Can I put you down for that, if we get a Series 2?
Sure.

[backstory]
This zeitgeist question came up when Snowflake asked [in S1E9]:
"What ever happened to the massive 1960s and 1970s style protests?"
To which I replied:
"What's happened to all the massive protests is that people have become complacent. 'If it don't affect me, I don't really give a shit.' The new zeitgeist. IMO."
First, let's get a working definition:
zeit·geist
[ˈtsītˌɡīst, ˈzītˌɡīst]
NOUN
1.
the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as
shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time:
"the story captured the zeitgeist of the
late 1960s"
So, what do you
think is the current zeitgeist (spirit or mood of the times), whether in your
own country or worldwide? Go in any or
all directions you want (religious, political, economic, health, etc).
Give SNOWFLAKE your thoughts on “the
zeitgeist.”
And thanks for favoriting and supporting the thread!
