A Traitor in the Family

Daily Beast: Trump May Sue His Own Niece Over Family-Insider Book

HHot on the heels of John Bolton’s behind-the-scenes look at the Trump White House, the president’s niece, Mary Trump, will be out next month with a family tell-all that’s said to contain “harrowing and salacious” details about her uncle, before and after his election.

“Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” is currently set for publication on July 28. Details have already started leaking.

This will blow the roof off the WH. Trump turned his back on one of his alcoholic brothers, then after he died, cut off his son’s medical coverage even though he had cerebral palsy. That’s the kind of ‘man’ our POTUS is, kudos to Mary Trump.

Trump is already suing Bolton, though it remains to be seen if he can block publication of his former national security adviser’s book, due out next week.
And the Daily Beast reported Wednesday that Trump “has told people close to him that he’s getting his lawyers to look into the Mary Trump matter.”
The lawyers will “explore what could be done in the way of legal retribution — or at least a threat” against Mary Trump, “likely in the form of a cease and desist letter,” says the Beast, citing two people “familiar with the situation.”
Both Mary Trump’s book and Bolton’s — “The Room Where it Happened” — were already riding high on the Amazon sales charts on Wednesday, Bolton’s at No.1, Mary’s at No. 5.
In her book,” the Beast reported Wednesday, “Mary Trump is not only expected to discuss difficult internal family dynamics and offer revelations about a younger Donald Trump; she is also expected to out herself as a primary source behind a Pulitzer-winning New York Times investigation into her uncle’s taxes.”
Beast reporter Lachlan Cartwright, who broke the news of “Too Much and Never Enough” on Sunday, wrote that it will contain “harrowing and salacious stories” about the president.
Mary Trump’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, “declined to comment on any potential legal action,” the Beast says.
