What is it about Jesus?

Yesterday, our blogger friend, Cat’s Paw, remarked:

many Christians seem way out of touch with Jesus.

I have come to like him a lot.

To which I replied:

I understand. His so-called messages were good ones.

While this subject was not on the list of question requests from our fellow bloggers, I thought it might be a good one to explore.

  1. Do you believe in Jesus?
  2. Whether you do or don’t, what does it mean (to you) to “believe in Jesus?”  Explain it.
  3. Do you agree with Jesus's messages?  If yes, what specifically were those messages?  Give a lot of details here.
  4. Do you see Jesus as more of a “placeholder” for religious messaging, rather than a one-time actual human being?
  5. As the title asks, what is it about Jesus?

Pick any or all of these questions to reply to.
