Revisiting Kent State, and was Side B taken out of context?

Sides A and B of Crosby, Still, Nash, and Young's "Ohio."  It's 11 days after the 53rd anniversary of the Kent State shootout.  I'm posting both because, although "Find the Cost..." has been adopted as an anthem by war veterans, the band meant it especially for those brave students at the university who exercised their free expression in spite of the massive National Guard presence on the school campus.

Any other takes on these songs or these issues?
