Post COVID plans?



Hey all! 

Seeing as President Biden's vaccine rollout is rushing along, it's time for all you lucky stateside folk to begin planning what you're going to do when the worst of the pandemic is over.

Me, I'm stuck with a slower rollout, which while on pace with the severity of the cases here, is still a bit annoying. 

But I'll join in the planning too. I'm looking forward to:

1) Throwing a party for my friends and family

2) Eating at a restaurant

3) Going to a conference in person

4) Grocery trips with the (grand)kids

5) Planning a vacation

6) Visiting clients in person

7) Going to an amusement park

8) Shaking hands with people

9) Seeing what things stick from COVID behavior

10) Designing post COVID systems for companies

Philosophical Question #14 – Lifestyle Choices

Here is an interesting question in my list of philosophical questions: 1.) Should governments have penalties for those who live unhealthy lifestyles? A list of unhealthy lifestyles would include things like smoking, drinking, illegal drugs, prostitution, and other “vice” type activities. I guess the “government penalties” would be referring to monetary punishments, withholding medical treatments (insurance companies would love that), possibly imposing/regulating very high (exorbitant) prices on things considered unhealthy in order to cut down on their use, and other possibilities. 2.) Or, would you say that living an unhealthy lifestyle, likely resulting in a LOT of eventual personal pain and suffering, should be punishment enough for unhealthy lifestyles? When people make bad choices in life, often in their youth where ignorance and immediate gratification takes them over,  3.)
