Another one bites the dust....

More heads roll in Trump's reality show.  The pressure that comes with the job, and Trump's strategy of blaming his subordinates for any mistakes(including his) means that only "yes men" are going to be left before long.  Eventually, the GOP might have to take down the monster they helped create, but currently Democrats seem poised to secure his position.  Their refusal to concede any ground on core issues makes Donald Trump too important to a party that is continually bleeding voters.
The party that voted for Mitt Romney and John McCain was forced into the arms of Donald Trump and his core supporters as more of a reaction to what the opposition was doing, rather than in agreement with Trump.  Since then, it's been a rocky road, but the administration has done better than most people's expectations.  The promised wars, economic collapse, Apocalypse hasn't come, but I think we can admit that his reckless style of leadership is not ideal.
For me, one of the more concerning aspects of his presidency is how quickly the administration culls through people.  Obviously, that has a lot to do with Trump's motus operandi, but I think there is a fair amount of pressure that actually comes from public opinion that is forcing otherwise good people(those who will tell the president no) to leave these positions.  Their dissent is a good check on the erratic nature of our Twitterer-and-cheif when they offer opinions that he may not agree with, but should hear nonetheless.

President Donald Trump announced Friday that Kevin McAleenan will be leaving as acting director of Homeland Security after a six-month stint in which he dealt with an unprecedented influx of asylum-seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Trump said he will be naming a replacement in the coming week.
Trump did not explain the decision, but McAleenan seemed to criticize the administration in an interview with The Washington Post on Oct. 1. (RELATED: McAleenan Says He’s ‘Uncomfortable’ Not Having Control Of Messaging And Tone At DHS)
“What I don’t have control over is the tone, the message, the public face and approach of the department in an increasingly polarized time,” McAleenan told WaPo. “That’s uncomfortable, as the accountable, senior figure.”
Immigration protesters heckled McAleenan off stage Monday at an event at Georgetown University. The incident highlighted how much pressure McAleenan has faced from both sides of the immigration fight. He has had to fulfill Trump’s campaign promise to curtail illegal immigration and build a wall along the southern border, with Democrats’ shift in favor of more lenient immigration policies.
Some Trump administration officials and immigration hawks pushed for McAleenan’s ouster over the summer, saying that he was too soft on illegal immigration.
