How White "Leftists" Fail to Leave Conservatism Behind.

Ian Danskin, of Innuendo Studios, posted this 35-minute analysis of the racial blind spots that are holding us back from achieving our oft-stated goals or building really effective movements or organization.  To sum it up, the suffering incurred by minorities in our political culture is just "the cost of doing business," which only white people get to do, with minorities not as an opposing team, but as mere game pieces.  He ends his discussion by saying that any movement is not "anti-fascist if it isn't anti-racist."

Fred Clark wrote something making the same point: that we don't have real freedom unless minorities enjoy it, too.  Elections without such protections are just so much dressed-up tyranny.
