2020 and the last man of lawlessnes



Trump might be the US President who will betray Israel, 3.5 year into his reign.
2017 was a jubilee year, 50 years after fhe liberation of Jerusalem. Followers of the Messiah expected something of great importance to take place. If Trump is the last man of lawlessnes, a betrayal of Israel will take place late spring 2020. 3.5 years into his reign. The whole World will hail him, minus National Religious Jews and true Evangelical Friends of Israel. The two witnesses from chapter 11 in the book of Revelation.

Israel enters 2020 in a terrible political mess, with a Prime Minister clinging to power despite being charged with three cases of fraud and corruption. If the leaked “peace plan”  published in The Times of Israel is correct, its all staged for the final countdown.
Trump bowed before the king of the Islamic kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 20th of May 2017. And received this Islamic dictatorships medal of honor.

This coin has been minted by Orthodox Rabbis in Israel, and 20.000 have been sold. Trump is compared to King Cyrus of Persia, who proclaimed he was the emperor of all kingdoms, the “king of kings” and ruler of the four corners of the World. A  messianic figure.

The Bible tells us what we can expect from the last man of lawlessness, whom Jesus will terminate during His second coming:

2 Thessalonians 2

The man of lawlessness

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us – whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter – asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.  Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?
 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,  and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Also in Daniel chapter 11, verse 32 and 36 onwards, we can read about the King who exalts him self.
First verse 32.

With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

Which covenant will be violated?
The land covenant. Judea and Samaria belongs to the Jews. Not to the Arabs. Regardless of what billions of people might say and think, including secular Jews, United Nations, the Pope and possibly also Trump.
Who will resist him?
Read chapter 11 in the Book of Revelation.
Than verse 36 to 38.

The king who exalts himself

‘The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all.  Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; god unknown to his ancestors he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.  He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price.

Philosophical Question #14 – Lifestyle Choices

Here is an interesting question in my list of philosophical questions: 1.) Should governments have penalties for those who live unhealthy lifestyles? A list of unhealthy lifestyles would include things like smoking, drinking, illegal drugs, prostitution, and other “vice” type activities. I guess the “government penalties” would be referring to monetary punishments, withholding medical treatments (insurance companies would love that), possibly imposing/regulating very high (exorbitant) prices on things considered unhealthy in order to cut down on their use, and other possibilities. 2.) Or, would you say that living an unhealthy lifestyle, likely resulting in a LOT of eventual personal pain and suffering, should be punishment enough for unhealthy lifestyles?
