Do you have finesse?
How do you handle confrontation? With finesse?
Dictionary.comFinesse: verb
-skill in handling a difficult or highly sensitive situation; adroit and artful management: e.g., exceptional diplomatic finesse.
Or, are you the “quick on the trigger finger” type, who looks for the offensive parts and runs with it? IOW, end up escalating the situation with your unchecked emotions.
Maybe you are a mixture and your reaction is situationally dependent (one way with kids, other peoples’ kids, another with adults, family members, in-laws).
Maybe you look for the happy medium between appeasement and attack. That really takes finesse!
Q: How do you approach confrontational situations? With finesse or more confrontation? Share your tactics.
