When punishment is necessary…

No sane person “enjoys” punishing someone, let alone the child they love.  But there are times when such discipline is needed, in order to help your child learn to function in greater the world.  You want to raise a well-adjusted child who understand there are rules, and lines that should not be crossed.  How to do it in the best way?

Q1: If you are a parent, or a potential parent, what is the worst punishment you would give to your child?

Q2: What was the worst punishment your parents gave you?  How effective was it (i.e., did it register with you)?

Thanks for posting and favoriting.
