Song Covers in the Key of Hell

So I'm listening to my Tidal subscription, and at some point I've stopped paying attention.  That, of course, is when the playlist, having run out, presents me with what is probably the single worst song cover by a major artist in history.  To wit:

David Bowie -- a certified genius.  And on one of his greatest albums, Aladdin Sane, he gifts us with what is arguably the most over-the-top, hilariously inane cover of the Rolling Stones' classic "Let's Spend the Night Together" ever recorded.

It's not a little "off."  It's vomiting-over-the-rainbow madness. Bowie sounds like he's been snorting meth all night long.  It's so terrible, it's kinda great!

So admit it -- you've got a few like this in your earworm baggage.  Tell us a cover that was absolutely terrible, so terrible you still like it!

We'll forgive you, honestly.  Someday.

AlextheKay enjoys the pain!
