Sorry about my last thread, I must have come across as frustrated.

Just wanted to catch up with ya all.

I would like your honest appraisal of that site and if it is something you would visit if Disqus ever closes down unpaid for forums. 

Things have changed since my last announcement. The road trip is off. My niece is gonna come and stay with us for two weeks and Geri wants to go spend some time with her ailing daughter in Minnesota. It is what it is.

So, now, I find I might actually have some time on my hands to spend more time in here. Imagine that.

On the political side, I have not participated much on Germaine's channel because I am fed up with politics. The Democrats are pissin' me off. They are lost. They have NO clue what they are doing or want to do.

As awful as we all agree Trump and the Republicans are, they are at least laser focused on their agenda. I have my own opinions what the Dems need to do to get back on track but my ideas might not sit well with some of ya. So I will keep my opinions to myself. 

As always, and as we have done so often in the past, any feedback or suggestions on how to improve this place is welcome.

Confronting Bluster 😡💢🗯🗯

  So, what is bluster? By definition: - to speak or act in a noisy, angry, or threatening way without saying anything important As good enough an explanation as any I guess, but it really doesn't say it all. Back when I was a kid, there was always that kid on the teams that would lose at whatever game it was and get mad while blaming someone else for the loss, even though they'd been a major part in the loss. So I naively assumed that bluster was only a sore loser thing. As I got older and worked I found out that it was also a tactic to try and scare others from fighting back. So a poker reference here, it's very similar to someone going "all in" right away to discourage anyone from calling the bet. Now, we see it quite often in politics, usually with doubling down if it's confronted.
