Nice try, all. No blue ribbons given out today.

We had no winners in yesterday’s “What is it?” contest.  Something related to pizza seemed to be the going theory.  Nope.  Here’s the answer:

It’s a silica gel pellet; a drying (or desiccant) agent used to protect from moisture in the air. 




No one seemed to notice that I zoomed in on the little bugger with my phone magnifier.  That should have given you a major hint that it was something smallish.
