Annual Oscar Butthurt Follies

 I don't watch award shows. They're a bit like the Super Bowl for me -- the few moments of whimsy that will appeal are outweighed by the endless snoozes between.  But I do watch for the Annual Outrage.  Because every year, somebody got cheated.  Somebody shoulda won, but didn't.  Somebody

This year, apparently, it's Angela Bassett.  How dare Jamie Lee Curtis take Bassett's award away!  One reporter even opined that Curtis must be blackmailing someone to get "all those prizes."  (Curtis just won her first Oscar with the only nomination in her career.)

So -- which Oscars pissed you off?  Which winners shoulda been losers?  Share!  Shriek!  Complain!  It'll be more entertaining than some movies, right?.

 I would like to ask any of my Canadian friends what they think of Trudeau's response to the impending tariffs imposed on Canada by Trump. I mean, I hope most Canadians would be MORE outraged than to simply suggest......... to forgo Florida orange juice and Kentucky bourbon He said: “It might mean checking the labels at the supermarket and picking Canadian made products.
