ABOUT SNOWFLAKE'S FORUM

With time winding down, I have my own Forum now, and this is going to be run a bit differently than my old channel Old @ss.

I already have a small but select group of Mods but will be considering other Mods in the near future.

To post OPs on here, you need to be added as an Author, and only way I can do that is to get your email address, as soon as I have it, I will delete your post with your email address and you will receive an email from Blogger inviting you to become an Author on here.

Also, I will be no permitting any kind of verbal (written) abuse on here, and my other rules are listed.
Though mainly news and politics, I am offering this as a home for no-po topics:
pretty much anything except porn, partisan slagging, racist or bigoted threads.

As most of you know, I had another forum set up for me

but that place didn't really catch on, people prefer familiarity
BUT I will keep it as a back-up, if this Forum doesn't fly.

I am also keeping my fingers crossed as a couple of dear friends of mine are considering letting me have my own Forum within a new site they are creating.
That will give me another option.

BUT FOR NOW
This has the closest look and feel to Disqus, allows people with Disqus accounts to comment on here and allows us to maintain a feeling of HOME.

I will be tagging a bunch of you to at least take a look here, some of you have already done so, and anyone wanting to be an author let me know.

ONE ADDITIONAL NOTE:
Even though I didn't tag you doesn't mean you are not welcome, you ARE welcome, but I will not allow the presence of certain posters who have a rep for just being nasty, the rules posted here will be strictly enforced.

Philosophical Question #14 – Lifestyle Choices

Here is an interesting question in my list of philosophical questions: 1.) Should governments have penalties for those who live unhealthy lifestyles? A list of unhealthy lifestyles would include things like smoking, drinking, illegal drugs, prostitution, and other “vice” type activities. I guess the “government penalties” would be referring to monetary punishments, withholding medical treatments (insurance companies would love that), possibly imposing/regulating very high (exorbitant) prices on things considered unhealthy in order to cut down on their use, and other possibilities. 2.) Or, would you say that living an unhealthy lifestyle, likely resulting in a LOT of eventual personal pain and suffering, should be punishment enough for unhealthy lifestyles? When people make bad choices in life, often in their youth where ignorance and immediate gratification takes them over,  3.)
