Oh boy.

How to misunderstand what someone says online. It's easy. Say something sarcastic, witty, off-colour (correct spelling) and someone will think you meant to say something else. Or use THAT excuse for claiming you didn't read or here something correctly, because, it was really YOU that misunderstood.

Works for Trump supporters:

Even happens HERE, example:

Nah, you make me laugh.

Now, what could I have meant by that?? See how it goes? I bet it happens a lot online. I am sure you all have had similar experiences, where you tried to convey a message but it got lost in the translation.

I mean, to this day, I bet there are some folks out there that still don't know why I call myself SNOWFLAKE.
    Amirite?

So, tell us your story of being misinterpreted online? (or misunderstood ANYWHERE if you want to go there).
