Propaganda advances: Whitewashing and reposting news articles making bad news into good news!

The fine folks at MeidasTouch News have glommed onto a propaganda and lies tactic that Trump is going all in on. What he does, or his goons do, is take news articles, rewrite them with bad news deleted and then repost the articles on Trump's economically failing Antitruth Antisocial social media platform. MTN reports about the latest turd Trump that tossed in the punch bowl:
Trump Removes Mention of Rep. Andy Kim From Manipulated Article

Trump has posted yet another one of his manipulated articles to Truth Social. This is Trump's 3rd altered article posted in April, and 22st overall uncovered by MeidasTouch.

Trump's article manipulation posts appear to be screenshots of actual articles, but they have been changed. Trump's altered articles usually share a news organization’s logo, title, and byline, but scrubs the article's body of unfavorable content that Trump doesn't like.

This time Trump even ditched the title and gutted most of the article, trimming it down to a few sections just about polling in New Jersey. Trump kept the teaser in place, as well at the New Jersey Globe's logo and writer's name, Joey Fox.  
Trump doesn't want his followers to know people generally think elections are fair and the Democratic candidates has a massive lead in his primary which also implies good name recognition. Trump doesn't seem to have a plan yet when it comes to New Jersey's senate candidates. He's mostly golfing when he visits New Jersey.

I do not really understand why Trump did this but he did. Maybe it is just a manifestation of his mindless seat of the pants, ad hoc way of doing politics. Whatever it is, it seems to work for his rank and file cult members.

Philosophical Question #14 – Lifestyle Choices

Here is an interesting question in my list of philosophical questions: 1.) Should governments have penalties for those who live unhealthy lifestyles? A list of unhealthy lifestyles would include things like smoking, drinking, illegal drugs, prostitution, and other “vice” type activities. I guess the “government penalties” would be referring to monetary punishments, withholding medical treatments (insurance companies would love that), possibly imposing/regulating very high (exorbitant) prices on things considered unhealthy in order to cut down on their use, and other possibilities. 2.) Or, would you say that living an unhealthy lifestyle, likely resulting in a LOT of eventual personal pain and suffering, should be punishment enough for unhealthy lifestyles? When people make bad choices in life, often in their youth where ignorance and immediate gratification takes them over,  3.)
