 ANYONE can participate.

What do YOU wish for and who do YOU wish for in the New Year?

Easy to say Peace on Earth and Good Will towards man and all that, but be specific.

Have a New Year's wish for another member on here, or someone in your family, or to the world in general?


My list:

I wish Susan, if she is peeking in, would let us know she is ok. I wish others who have left, but might be peeking in, would stop by and say hello.

I wish ALL of our remaining regulars good health, because last year, we lost one I know of, and maybe more I don't know of. Seems we have an aging group, so wishing good health is necessary.

I wish Geri and I are finally able to find a new place to live. We aren't happy with our apartment and have been looking hard for the last year, without luck, at new abodes. 

I wish my son, who is currently living in Australia, will either finally settle down there or come home.

I wish the nastiness that has infested itself into politics, especially in the U.S. will find a way of reversing itself and Americans can regain a reputation of kind and considerate people. 

I wish Toronto Maple Leafs can win a Stanley Cup.  Nah, just kidding.

AND I wish most of all that we will still be here in a year from now to kick in 2027.

The MonoRacer 130E Fully Enclosed Motorcycle Aims to Redefine Personal Mobility Elena Gorgan The idea of making something that would be halfway between a bicycle or motorcycle and a car is not new; after all, the advantages of such a vehicle would be many for a large segment of the market. In the Czech Republic, inventor, fabricator and full-time pilot Arnold Wagner has been making one such vehicle since the late ‘80s. Since 2009, with a new partner, he launched the  PERAVES CZ  company, and they’ve been putting out these cabin-motorcycles dubbed MonoRacer since then. They probably haven’t sold more than a couple of hundred of them (90 of which were made before the 2009 partnership), but that could change as early as this month.  I would like to ask any of my Canadian friends what they think of Trudeau's response to the impending tariffs imposed on Canada by Trump. I mean, I hope most Canadians would be MORE outraged than to simply suggest......... to forgo Florida orange juice and Kentucky bourbon He said: “It might mean checking the labels at the supermarket and picking Canadian made products.
