Children and advertising. Many times they go together well, especially if trying for cute or humorous. If you are selling laundry detergent, a kid who has been rolling around in spaghetti sauce works well.
But, are you going to be swayed to buy something just because some kid says so? Little Timmy says this brand of meat is the best. Well, little Timmy also enjoys eating dirt and nasal excavations. In Japan, this is extremely popular. Some little girl, dressed up in a business suit, coming into your bathroom, extolling the virtues of this tub cleaner. Sorry, but that isn’t going to convince Bunny.
