Not exactly what we were looking for..................... but....................

 Ok we are moving Aug. 1st. We still owe a month on our apartment here in Minny. But we couldn't pass up an apartment we found in our new location in Ontario.

We had been looking for a ground floor apartment, ended up with a penthouse with an awesome view.

The building is for seniors, so no need to worry about noisy kids, but is your basic garden variety apartment building. Nice size rooms, but not a lot of amenities. Shopping and such are a bit of a drive but not more than 10 minutes. That distance almost squashed our taking this apartment, but............

The location is absolutely stunning, the rent is reasonable, and the penthouse apartment was available by August, so now it is rush rush to get back to our home in Minny, to get packed, find movers, and say farewell to family members.

OH, and btw, for those who are still curious, Geri has fully recovered from her illness, thanks.

Thanks again to those who have posted threads in my absence. As a result of our rushed move I once again will only be dropping by as occasion allows, so hope all my regulars will continue to be patient till I am settled and get back to a normal routine.

Philosophical Question #14 – Lifestyle Choices

Here is an interesting question in my list of philosophical questions: 1.) Should governments have penalties for those who live unhealthy lifestyles? A list of unhealthy lifestyles would include things like smoking, drinking, illegal drugs, prostitution, and other “vice” type activities. I guess the “government penalties” would be referring to monetary punishments, withholding medical treatments (insurance companies would love that), possibly imposing/regulating very high (exorbitant) prices on things considered unhealthy in order to cut down on their use, and other possibilities. 2.) Or, would you say that living an unhealthy lifestyle, likely resulting in a LOT of eventual personal pain and suffering, should be punishment enough for unhealthy lifestyles? When people make bad choices in life, often in their youth where ignorance and immediate gratification takes them over,  3.)
