The Intentional Destruction of the USA

The Bible is full of warnings about not being deceived. We’ve been warned of false prophets (Matthew 7:15Matthew 24:4-5), false teaching (Acts 20:28-31) and false gospels (Galatians 1:6-10). That’s a lot of falsehood, which is why we’re also told “do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).
Although people make fun of “conspiracy theorists,” there really is a conspiracy out there, and the conspirator is Satan. After all, Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44) and he’s very good at twisting God’s Word (Genesis 3:4-5Matthew 4:1-10). He “walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Likewise, he’s the “god” of this age who blinds people to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4). If you’re not following Christ, you’re following him (Ephesians 2:1-2).
Well, leaders can fall under Satanic influence (Isaiah 14:3-23; Ezekiel 28:11-19). Believe it or not, this is scheduled to happen on a global level. Satan’s spiritual conspiracy will peak shortly before the return of Jesus. He will have a global religious and economic system, with the Antichrist as his puppet leader (Revelation 13). Naturally, for this to take place, all nations must submit in some form or another. This has led many well-meaning Christians to warn about a coming global government, popularly known as the “New World Order.” Well, here’s the thing: there isn’t going to be a one-world government in the end times.
Although it’s often overlooked, at the height of his power, the Antichrist will only control one-fourth of the earth (Revelation 6:7-8). Sure, he’ll have economic and religious authority over the whole world through his mark and his image (Revelation 13:7, 14-18). Yet, he will never completely control the world politically. This explains why the Antichrist is going to be engaging in several wars during the end times. For example, he will attack and conquer Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia, but he’ll never have control of Jordan (Daniel 11:41-43). The Bible paints an interesting picture of the Antichrist: he’s the scrappy underdog from the East taking on the global elites of the West. He’s described as a ‘little horn’ from Russia who rises to power in Syria with a small group. Kind of like God used Nebuchadnezzar to judge the people of Judah (Jeremiah 25:9), the Antichrist will be God’s judgment on the globalists.
For the record, globalists want to replace national sovereignty with global governance. More or less, they want absolute control over a single, homogeneous, global financial system to exploit people and natural resources for their own gain. This is why they promote illegal immigration and oppose national borders. Of course, this is completely satanic (see: Tower of Babel). For years, the United States, being the economic and military superpower of the modern world, has been the globalist elite’s headquarters. Indeed, this is why many Christians believe New York City is Babylon the Great, the world’s wicked superpower at the time of the end and the Antichrist’s rival for world domination.
With the election of America-first President Donald Trump, however, the outlook is far cloudier. Will the globalists be kicked out and set up camp elsewhere, like London perhaps? Only God knows. Regardless, Satan has long wanted to destroy the United States. No doubt, in recent decades, Satan has had a great deal of success. That said, the tide may be turning.
Even so, the United States may have to submit to the Antichrist in some form or another during the end times. After all, the Mark of the Beast financial system will be global in scope (Revelation 13:16-18). Nevertheless, given America’s history of rebellion against tyrants and respect for the Lord, there is hope for the United States. There are many committed followers of Jesus in the United States that will never submit to the Antichrist. Likewise, plenty of secular Americans won’t worship the Antichrist, because Daniel 11:34 says Christians will receive help from non-Christians who refuse to take the Antichrist’s mark.
Time will tell what role the United States is going to play in the end times. Is America Babylon the Great, the evil superpower which opposes the Antichrist and loses? Is the United States a non-factor, choosing to isolate itself from a world gone mad while ignoring the Antichrist’s financial and religious systems? There’s no way to be sure, but for the time being, it’s important to appreciate why Donald Trump won with a platform of making America great again. There has long been an intentional effort to destroy the United States of America, and while the methods may be economic, political and cultural, the foundation of this attack is spiritual.
