Do you still bother with DVD's?

DVD's.  As of 1995 or so, the new, high-tech way to see our favorite movies and discover the story behind the story.  When a friend got me the deluxe Lord of the Rings DVD packages, complete with many hours of making-of documentary material, I actually like the documentaries better than the movies!

Lately, however, Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services have rendered these discs obsolete, at least among people under 55.  But I'm addressing an audience of sticks-in-the-mud, amirite?  Is anyone besides me holding on to the dear old discs?  And is anyone also hanging on to their VHS cassettes?
