 OR maybe more than a few words, as I may be feeling verbose.

Geri has left me.

Again.

On her way back to Minnesota to visit her daughter. Worried about border crossing. Wants to delete her social media history from her cellphone. Not that she ever said anything about Trump, politics not her thing, but.............

How did we ever get here where we need to worry about our cellphones being looked at crossing the border? 

Anyway, home ALONE the next 5 weeks. What to do? What to do? 

Meanwhile, I will mention, that it appears we  here on Disqus are dying a slow death.

BNR is still going strong, but OMG, how anyone can stomach the comments made by some on there is beyond me.

Maybe I am just a sensitive SNOWFLAKE.

But yesterday, Kat posed her weekly thread on her forum, and a total of three regulars left a comment. Even Germaine is suffering from Disqus fatigue and disinterest. Or is it Trump fatigue? 

Here we have a hand full of loyal followers still kicking around, but we keep losing regulars. Some we lost we are aware of.

But going thru my invite list the other day noticed one I keep inviting hasn't been active in 2 years, another not active for 7 months.

So my invite list keeps getting shorter and shorter.

How long should I hang in here? Well, as long as Bunny keeps posting threads, I guess as long as Bunny keeps posting threads. Only fair.

For today, or for this thread, I just like to hear from our few regulars about how your life is going and what you are up to nowadays.

Because, my life, other than being a bachelor for the next 5 weeks, has become dull.

Amazing how one can become lazier and lazier when there is no house to tend to, no garden to tend to, not kids to tend too, and full time job to tend to and the significant other can tend to herself just fine, thank you very much.

Hobbies? Well, I did join a seniors coffee chat group recently. They only meet once a week for an hour and a half. We don't talk politics. Not exactly exciting.

Maybe I should take up hunting or fishing? Nah, I can't stand killing living things. Hypocritical I know, because I eat fish and meat. 

In short, talk about anything you want to talk about, yourself or not, what is happening in the world or not, or give a suggestion as to how we can draw more customers since I can't advertise this forum unless I pay for the advertisement. 

Ok, now where did I leave the remote control?

More sad news............

 I really really hope this is on the up and up. With interactions with people on the internet, you can never be sure if what we hear is real. BUT, because we have all been wondering what happened to Susan, I will repost an email I got this morning: Hi, This is Walter, Susan's step son who she mentioned live in California.  I am sorry to inform you that Susan took her life the day before Thanksgiving by locking herself in the garage with the cars running.  I can see from your communications that she trusted you and that is why I am informing you that she committed suicide.  Thank you for encouraging her to trudge along in life if her husband were to die.  I wish she would have listened to you closer.   The email did come from her email address . So, I replied with condolences and thought it best to drop this note to let you all know of her passing. To my authors who have her on their invite list, you can now remove her name.
